The Founder
Dr. Maiysha Clairborne is an internationally recognized integrative family physician, career, business & entreprneurship coach, the CEO of Stress Free Mom MD, and founder the Next Level Physicians Entrepreneur’s Institute. With over a 14 years of experience, Dr. Maiysha is not only passionate about changing the lives of the thousands of patients over the year through her wellness programs, but she is also an advocate for physicians world wide being happy in their careers and their lives.
Her repeated exposure to and experience with supporting burnout in physicians, as well as her own struggle with burnout is what inspired her to empower women physicians struggling with burnout and career dissatisfaction.
Dr. Clairborne’s success with helping physicians in their lives and careers is based on 4 core principles. Through these 4 pillars she is able to empower physicians by:
1) Teaching them tools to recover from and prevent burnout
2) Helping them Discover balance in an unbalanced profession,
3) Showing them how to Create a career they love, and
4) Giving them the tools to Live a Life by their design.
Dr. Clairborne also has a passion for delivering trainings, workshops, keynotes, and retreats. She has delivered her trainings in arenas such as the International Conference on Physician Health, CPR in Progress: Physician Women's Wellness Conference, and the internationally held WELLMED Physician Conference. A powerful and valuable coaching asset, Dr. Clairborne has been recruited to be a resource to such companies as The Happy MD, Vital Work Life, & Healthy Healer Program through Carolinas Medical Society.
Best known for her down to earth personality, poignant humor, and out of the box thinking style, Dr. Clairborne has turned her wisdom into two transformational books, an award-winning streaming radio show, and a wildly popular blog. Furthermore, her transformational online coaching programs and curriculums are utilized widely by physicians worldwide.
Dr. Maiysha’s training journey began at Emory University completing her Bachelors in Psychology, and then went on to complete her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine. Finishing her Family Medicine Residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL, she is trained in acupuncture, NLP, and is currently an Integrative Medicine Residency Fellow. Dr. Clairborne is Associate Clinical Professor with Morehouse School of Medicine, and ongoing guest faculty with Emory University School of Medicine. She successfully owned and operated her integrative medicine practice for 10 years before selling it to transition full time into physician coaching and consulting. In addition to her own blog TheStressFreeMD.com, Dr. Clairborne regularly appears on award winning blogs such as KevinMD.com, MomMD, Doximity & QuantiaMD online physician platforms.
Dr. Clairborne is also very active in the graduate medical education community, providing her trainings on preventing burnout & creating the ideal career for students & residents from several institutions including the Atlanta Medical Center, Northside Hospital, Gwinnett Medical Center, Emory University, and Morehouse School of Medicine.
